The larger beads did not make the journey very well and got a bit chipped. I have to think about what I am going to do with them as they are too sharp to use. The amazing clasp is made by a friend of Susanna.

The beads arrived last week but I was too busy to post as I had two visitors. My Sister Caroline came over from Holland and we made jewellery together, you can find her on http://www.kralenenmore.nl and my Dutch friend Janneke came over from the USA too. Janneke makes the most beautiful quilts.

I have been following othellehto since last summer, I'm a big fan of her designs. Marjolein, you must have been so disappointed to open the parcel and learn those lovely beads had suffered damage (I'm sure I would have cried!) Those "faces", especially the animals, are just so charming, they look like they are keeping a secret, don't they? I hope to return for your reveal April 13th. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for you lovely comment. Yes the "Face" bead is fantastic!!But the large Crystal beads were chipped, luckily not the beads Susanna made. I am having a lovely time making things with her beads. Do come back on the 13th of April when all will be revealed!
